Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the Melville was a delightful experience, perfectly positioned just a few blocks from the vibrant sights of old Mazatlan. The rooms felt spacious and well-equipped, although we did encounter some noise during the night. The charm of the hotel and its surroundings is unique, with close access to restaurants and attractions. However, we did miss a few amenities and some noise could be an issue for light sleepers.
Staying at the Melville in Mazatlan's historic district was a unique experience that truly connected me to the local vibe. The colonial-style building offered beautifully decorated rooms and a lovely courtyard. It's conveniently located near great dining and cultural spots, but be prepared for some nightlife noise. Overall, it was a fantastic value for the comfort and charm it provided.
My stay at the Melville Hotel was truly enjoyable, thanks to its unique charm and prime location in the historic district. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with kitchen amenities that make it feel like a home away from home. However, the noise from nearby bars can be quite disruptive at night, especially on weekends. Overall, I found great value for money considering the experience and comfort it offers.
Staying at the Melville offered a unique experience that felt authentic to the heart of Mazatlan, with comfortable accommodations and a charming atmosphere. I truly enjoyed the location near the vibrant Plaza Machado, though the live music could be heard in the rooms, which might be distracting at times. Overall, it's great value for money, especially considering the spacious rooms and the individuality of the hotel’s design.
My stay at the Melville was quite the pleasant surprise. It's located just a block from Machado, where the atmosphere is vibrant with live music and a variety of restaurants. However, the noise from nearby bars can be a bit disruptive at night, especially since our room was right above one. While the room had great art and a kitchen, I found the bathroom lacking in some respects. But for the price we paid of $120 for a double suite, I felt it was reasonable considering the unique character of the hotel.
